## What is Multi Input Bridge (MIB)?

MIB is a software-based KVM solution that allows you to control

between two and four Windows PCs using a single mouse and keyboard.

Simply move your mouse cursor to the edge of the screen

to switch control to the adjacent PC.

You can seamlessly share the clipboard and files,

use drag-and-drop, and even share screens—

making multiple computers feel like one.

No dedicated hardware switch (physical KVM) or cloud service is required;

it connects your PCs over the same LAN (or VPN)

using software alone.

It is a portable, folder-based application that requires no installation.

## For Peace of Mind (Privacy & Security)

As this app handles user input and screen data,

the following design considerations have been implemented:

**Passwords are not transmitted over the network**

(Challenge-response authentication)

Setting a password encrypts all communications.

**No logs of typed text, passwords, or clipboard contents are kept** (only activity records such as operation counts)

**No cloud relay**

Communication takes place directly between your PCs.

⚠️ Please use only on PCs you manage

and have authorized permission to access.

Do not use to control third-party PCs without authorization.

⚠️ Due to the nature of handling input and screen data,

antivirus software may trigger a warning.

Please grant permission if necessary to use the app.

## System Requirements

**Two or more** PCs running Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)

Same LAN (wired connection recommended); uses one TCP port (default: 45800)

Also works over VPN.No installation required (simply place the folder).

Running as administrator is not required.

## How to Use (3 Simple Steps)

1. Extract the downloaded ZIP file and

copy the entire folder to each PC you wish to connect.

2. Launch `Multi_Input_Bridge.exe` on each PC.

3. Enter connection settings (target IP address and password) and click "Connect."

After that, simply move your mouse to the edge of the screen.

## Known Limitations

For security reasons, the current version cannot remotely control

Windows login screens, lock screens, or UAC (administrator confirmation) prompts.

→ For unattended operation, we recommend using this alongside auto-login.
